Who doesn’t need an excuse to kick off your slippers, put your feet up, lay back on the sofa, popcorn in one hand and a good film on the box. Well…..
Today, 19th January is National Popcorn Day
So you can do just that!
I went a bit different with my popcorn and had it with vanilla ice cream, maple syrup and chocolate sprinkles. My goodness it tasted good
It had everything you needed in a quick snack. Sweetness from the syrup, cold from the ice cream, crunch from the chocolate, saltyness and heat from the popcorn.
I look at this little face and it makes my heart skip a beat
I look at this little face and am overwhelmed with the amount of love i have for him.
I never thought I could feel such love before I had children. After having my first child I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to Love my second child as much as the first but my Lovely Mum told me that love is just like an elastic band and it will stretch as far you want it to.
I’ve bought a new book for my youngest boy to look at, he loves to learn and is always flicking through books from the bookcase.
The book is called ‘I’m ready for School’. There is a section in the book titled ‘All about me’, there is a page with pictures of different type people who help us. I asked Oliver if he knew who they were, here are his answers for the two pictures below:
Monday 6th – After eating so much food over the Christmas holidays and having very little exercise due to having to stay in with two sick boys, I have decided that i need to eat a little bit more healthier and stop snacking on choclates and crisps, so I made myself some cheese and biscuits for dinner. Cranberry cheese, cheddar cheese and a selection of cheese biscuits, Yummy!
Tuesday 7th – I have decided to get back into doing a little bit of sewing this year, hopefully I will be able to find the time to do some projects. Today I made the youngest his very own little snack bag
Wednesday 8th – Joseph had an audition up London in Leicester Square, we saw this brilliant statue outside Spotlights Office
Thursday 9th – It was Olivers first day at Preschool, as I am at work I never get to pick him up but the childminder took this photo of him for me. She had just collected him and he was posing outside
Friday 10th – This photo is of Oliver and my feet, a silly photo really, but I quite like it.
Saturday 11th – Jak ran 5k in the local Parkrun, he is training for the trial to participate in the London Mini Marathon and represent our local council. He beat his Personal best time of 23:27 by 22:33 Go Jak!
After Jak finished we all ahd a bit of fun in the park, Oliver ticked off another item on his winter potty list by splashing in muddy puddles
Sunday 12th – A lazy day indoors today, Oliver and Joseph are dressed up as superman and are both flying around the livingroom saving people who are in trouble
Project 52 is the same as 365 but sharing the weeks photos in a week and not every day. Its a way of keeping a diary of memories. My first two days of 365/photo a day can be found on my previous two posts.
03/01/14 The eldest received an art set for Christmas which he hasn’t put down, he draws all day long. He is into drawing Goku (I have no idea who this is! But he enjoys doing it)
04/01/14 The two youngest and I went to watch a pantomime, Dick Whittington at a local theatre, the tickets were presents for the boys from their Godparents. It was Oliver’s first ever pantomime and he loved it, he sat still all the way through and joined in with the ‘he’s behind you’ and ‘wakey wakey’.
05/01/14 The boys played out in the garden today in their play house, they pretended to be pirates, so I painted their faces
