Learning cvc words 25/365

After a troublesome, sleepless night Oliver woke up feeling a little better. We managed to do a little learning inbetween the crying and moaning.

I printed off some cvc worksheets from a Website called teachitprimary. There was 4 pictures with 3 rectangle spaces next to them. On a separate sheet was 12 letters that if out together correctly would spell out the 4 pictures on the other sheet. I cut out the letters and placed them on the table in front of oliver. He looked at the pictures, said them out loud and found the correct sound to stick down.

He struggles with ant, as when he was saying it he kept leaving out the n sound.

It was a lovely activity and he managed to do it before he became clingy again.
