Saturday is football training day for my eldest and wasnt it a lovely day. We decided to walk over to the park, its not far only about 15 minutes away. I promised Joseph, my four year old that we go off an adventure when we got there, whilst Jak was playing football.
Jak’s training lasts for an hour and a half, so we watched him train for a little while and joseph enjoyed runnung around kicking a ball about too.
We then went on search for trees to climb, we found some great ones and Joseph really enjoyed running through the trees and pointing out runs that looked funny. We even found a squirell hiding amongst the branches of the trees, it was hard for Joseph to stay quiet while i took the photo of it but he managed it lol.
When we got home we had some spare time to plant some flowers that i bought the boys earlier on it the week. I got them a Aloe Gin and a Dragons Lair to plant. The dragons lair comes with a small dragons egg, Black Dragon Coleus and Dragon Tree seeds, plus some lava rock and red gravel. The boys hands got dirty but they had fun doing it.
I’m linking this post up with Coombemill go and check out her amazing site and take a klook at some more country kids posts.
