Who doesn’t need an excuse to kick off your slippers, put your feet up, lay back on the sofa, popcorn in one hand and a good film on the box. Well…..
Today, 19th January is National Popcorn Day
So you can do just that!
I went a bit different with my popcorn and had it with vanilla ice cream, maple syrup and chocolate sprinkles. My goodness it tasted good
It had everything you needed in a quick snack. Sweetness from the syrup, cold from the ice cream, crunch from the chocolate, saltyness and heat from the popcorn.
Go on try it!
Look who we met whilst we was in London last week?
Jak had an audition and this great big character was in the entrance hall to the building
Monday 6th – After eating so much food over the Christmas holidays and having very little exercise due to having to stay in with two sick boys, I have decided that i need to eat a little bit more healthier and stop snacking on choclates and crisps, so I made myself some cheese and biscuits for dinner. Cranberry cheese, cheddar cheese and a selection of cheese biscuits, Yummy!
Tuesday 7th – I have decided to get back into doing a little bit of sewing this year, hopefully I will be able to find the time to do some projects. Today I made the youngest his very own little snack bag
Wednesday 8th – Joseph had an audition up London in Leicester Square, we saw this brilliant statue outside Spotlights Office
Thursday 9th – It was Olivers first day at Preschool, as I am at work I never get to pick him up but the childminder took this photo of him for me. She had just collected him and he was posing outside
Friday 10th – This photo is of Oliver and my feet, a silly photo really, but I quite like it.
Saturday 11th – Jak ran 5k in the local Parkrun, he is training for the trial to participate in the London Mini Marathon and represent our local council. He beat his Personal best time of 23:27 by 22:33 Go Jak!
After Jak finished we all ahd a bit of fun in the park, Oliver ticked off another item on his winter potty list by splashing in muddy puddles
Sunday 12th – A lazy day indoors today, Oliver and Joseph are dressed up as superman and are both flying around the livingroom saving people who are in trouble
It’s day two of my photo a day challenge and today is Organise. I’m not a very organised person, I don’t keep a diary, I’m always late for meet ups an my house is a mess, but i doI make the occasional list!
So today the 2nd of January the boys and I organised the livingroom, we put up new curtains and moved some of the furniture about (just some small storage boxes, nothing too drastic) the tree came down and the decorations have been stored away in the loft. We organised some of their toys into boxes and now my living room looks rather neat and tidy.
So here’s to organising some more order into the home 🙂
This was Oliver’s path yesterday, if it looks like it leads somewhere then he will follow it!
Love is easy for me to portray in a photograph as I would normally just take a picture of all 3 of my boys, but as Jak isn’t around until Sunday (he’s away) it just doesn’t feel right, taking a photo of Joseph with Oliver and not Jak!
But this picture is just too cute to share
Joseph is blowing me kisses!
As its 4th July today what else could the photo a day prompt be other than Red, White or Blue!
Whilst munching away on our gorgeous succulent strawberries, Joseph offered me a heart shaped strawberry, telling me that he was giving me his love.
Oliver never wants to sit down in his buggy when travelling on the train now he has started to climb out and wants to be like his big brothers and sit on the seats.
I let him look through the window so he could watch the world whizz by
The perfect picture of a happy little boy peeping out from behind his buggy hood, smiling in the sunshine!
I love this boy soooo much, he is just perfect to me!
Oliver is trying everything he can to stay awake this evening, he has screamed the bedroom down because he was put into his cot and he climbed out and into my bed so I have taken to sitting in the sofa with him.
We have read his favourite ‘Goodnight stories and rhymes’ book and he has cuddled up to Bedtime Rory, he has rubbed his eyes a few times so I don’t think it will be long before he is in the land of nod.
