Top Secret Tickety Toc Event at Hamleys

Last Sunday the boys and I boarded the underground train to make our way to Hamleys Toy Store for a very special event for Tickety Toc, the Toy store was to be closed to public and only open to invited guests only and guess what, we was VIP’s.

We was greeted at the door by Hamleys staff and given our very special VIP badges and also a token to receive one free milkshake. We made our way to the top floor where the boys had some fun dancing away along with the Milkshake presenters Kemi and Olivia and then they were joined by the one and only Tommy and Talulah from Tickety Toc.

After tiring themselves out with all the dancing we went downstairs for story time, the boys got comfortable and grabbed a copy of the story ‘Mystery Time’ so they could read along with the storyteller, Jak even got called up to help out and read out Talulah’s part in the story.

The boys and I had so much fun trying out the new range of Tickety Toc toys, making headbands, listening to stories and meeting Tommy and Talulah. It wasn’t easy pulling Oliver away from the toys especially the Chime Time playset.

It was thirsty work all the dancing and playing so we ordered a nice refreshing milkshake each, Joseph and Oliver had a strawberry one, Jak had a chocolate one and I opted for a vanilla one, I must admit they were very tasty and certainly hit the spot.

A fun day was had by all, we laughed, danced, sang songs, listened to stories, made crafts, played with lots of toys and met some lovely people. The boys came away with a goodie bag which had their very own Tommy character in it, Which Oliver now sleeps with and kisses all o the time. He has also learnt a new word and walks around saying ‘Toc Toc’ .
